I’m Jake, the face behind AutoShine. I started the business after years of looking after my own cars, always chasing that freshly detailed look – deep gloss, clean trim and a cabin that actually feels nice to sit in.
What began as a hobby quickly turned into word-of-mouth work for friends, family and local customers. Over time, that grew into a full-time mobile detailing service, covering everything from regular deep cleans for family cars to multi-stage machine polishing and ceramic coatings on performance and prestige vehicles.
My approach is simple: treat every car as if it were my own, use products I trust, and be honest about what’s realistic for your paint, your budget and how you actually use the vehicle.

I’ll always be upfront about what’s achievable, what’s safe for your paint and what I’d personally recommend. You’ll also get simple aftercare guidance so you can keep the car looking better for longer.
Day to day, I’m focused on local mobile detailing in Warwickshire and Worcestershire – covering areas such as Kenilworth, Leamington, Warwick, Coventry, Redditch and the surrounding villages.
For Premium and Ultimate exterior packages, I also travel further afield across England & Wales, with travel and accommodation factored into your quote.
I aim to keep things clear and straightforward. No confusing menus or hidden extras – just a conversation about what you want to achieve and the best way to get there.
I use a mix of well-regarded detailing brands and techniques built from experience, testing and real-world use on customer cars.
Everything starts with safe washing and decontamination – snow foam, pre-wash, two-bucket wash and appropriate brushes and mitts to reduce wash marring as much as possible.
Dual-action polishers, suitable pad and polish combinations and panel-by-panel inspection to balance improvement with safety. The goal is always to improve your paint, not chase perfection at any cost.
From short-term sealants through to multi-year ceramic coatings, I’ll recommend a protection option that matches how long you keep the car, how you wash it and how you actually use it.
